In this project I've searched for answers and more information surrounding interracial adoption. I've documented my findings, my thoughts and feelings in illustrations and stories.
Every adoption story is unique, everyone has different experiences. For many there is only 1 story, or only 1 side to the story. Adoption is a heroic deed or the most inhumane process that should be banned. Adoption isn't that binary, but oftentimes the raw part of the story is underlit. Oftentimes the romanticized aspect created by media shines through.
